Congressman Philip Crane (R-IL) has been a friend and advocate since meeting Max three years ago. At three-years-old Max had already made several trips to Washington , DC to lobby Congress for more funding for Canavan disease, and fight for his ethical right to receive experimental medical treatment. Little Max Randell became very well known as members of the media quickly picked up on his incredible story.
